In order to turn man from his deed,
And conceal pride from man.
Job 33:17
Amen!
Verse 16, which we discussed yesterday:
The Lord opened the ears of men and sealed them to teach them, so that they might cast aside their proud conduct and obtain salvation through God's grace.
Then, what is pride before God?
It does not simply refer to a character that acts superior.
It is a deviation from one's relationship with God and a serious, demonic behavior that breaks the order.
When the serpent tempted Eve,
"You will be like God."
Satan's greatest temptation—that one will become like God—is pride.
The proud person can never receive salvation because they boast of their own righteousness!!!
It is because they lack the grace of the cross of Jesus.
The Lord said that sins against the Holy Spirit cannot be forgiven.
Because we all possess this sinful nature of pride, so God opened our ears and gave us the Word of the Bible, which is God's teaching, just as He did in yesterday's and today's message.
Through this, it is God's dispensation to enable us to receive the seal of the Holy Spirit and be saved.
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven!

Amen!
Observe the Lord's word!
