“For ask now concerning the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether any great thing like this has happened, or anything like it has been heard.

Deuteronomy 4:32

“이제 너희는 하나님이 땅 위에 사람을 창조하신 날부터 너희 앞에 있었던 지난 날들을 상고해 보라. 그리고 하늘 끝에서 저 끝까지 이와 같은 큰 일이있었는지, 혹은 이와 같은 일을 들었는지 물어보라.”

신명기 4:32

아멘!

이스라엘이 애굽의 노예로 부터 자유케 하신 하나님의 역사를 잊고 불의를 행하며 다른 이방신을 섬겼듯이, 우리 역시 구원의 감격과 하나님의 사랑을 잊어 버리고 세상을 향할 때가 있음을 깨우쳐 주십니다.

35절, 하나님께서 이렇게 우리로 구원의 감격을 되 돌아보게 하심은,

여호와 하나님은 오직 한 분!!!

다른 어떤 신이나

우상같은 것들이

있을 수 없다는 것을

각인시켜 주시기 위함입니다.

We cannot serve both God and money!

He reminds us that just as Israel forgot God’s work of freeing them from slavery in Egypt, committed unrighteousness, unfaithful, served other foreign gods, there are times when we too forget the joy of salvation and God’s love, and turn toward the world.

Verse 35: God causes us to reflect on the joy of salvation in this way, so that Jehovah God is only One!

It is to impress upon us that there can be no other gods or idols.

We cannot serve both God and money!
