Then Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, each took his center and put fire in it, put incense on it, and offered profane fire before the LORD, which He had not commanded them.

Leviticus 10:1

After the Exodus, Aaron and his sons, Nadab and Abihu, were officially appointed as priests, holding crucial roles. (Exodus 24:1)

According to Exodus 30:9-10, the priest's duty was to burn incense only with the fire commanded by God and to keep that fire burning continuously. However, they brought "strange fire" from an unknown source to burn incense.

What is the message awakening us today? I understand this as a word directed at worshipers.

Whether it is the minister preaching God's Word from the pulpit or the congregation listening, there are preachers who tickle people's ears with worldly knowledge, philosophy, ideologies, and traditions instead of the holy Word of God—and there are listeners who prefer it that way.

The Word of God pierces and divides our soul, spirit, thoughts, and marrow, providing teaching, rebuke, and encouragement.

Therefore, God's grace does not just cover up our sins and flaws, but reveals them so that we may repent.

I believe a person who truly receives grace is one who recognizes their own weakness and holds onto the Lord's hand, depending entirely on Him. 😊
