Proverbs 30:9 / 07-18-26

Give me neither poverty nor riches,

Feed me only my daily bread.

Lest I be full and deny You,

And say, "Who is the LORD?"

Or lest I be poor and steal,

And profane the name of my God.

Proverbs 30:8(b),9

나를 가난하게도, 부하게도 마옵시고, 오직 필요한 그 날의 양식으로 먹여주옵소서.

혹 내가 배불러서 주님을 부인하여, "여호와가 누구냐?"

혹 가난해서 도적질하여 내 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 할까 두렵나이다.

잠언 30:8(하),9

아멘!

잠언 지혜서의 말씀가운데서 절정에 이르러 우리의 영혼을 깨우는 말씀이라고 생각합니다!

이 말씀은 예수님께서 우리에게 주신 기도문을 설명해 주고있습니다.

"Give us this day our daily bread!"

내일과 모레와 장래를 위한 안위와 풍족함을 구할 것이 아니라, 지금 처한 오늘의 필요한 양식과 안위에 만족하며, 감사하라는 말씀으로 듣습니다.

이렇게 하면 풍부함으로 인해 하나님과 사람앞에서 교만하여 주님을 부인하거나, 혹은 적다라는 이유로 주님께 원망과 불평을 하지않을 것이라는 확신을 갖습니다. ✝️👏

I believe this is a passage that reaches its climax among the words of the Book of Proverbs and awakens our souls!

This passage explains the prayer that Jesus gave us.

"Give us this day our daily bread!" I understand this as a message to be thankful for feeding in this day rather than seeking comfort and abundance for tomorrow..the future.

I am convinced that if we do this, we will not become arrogant before God and man due to abundance and deny the Lord, nor will we harbor resentment or complaints against Him because we have little. ✝️👏
