"And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me."
John 11:42
Amen!
Jesus wept and prayed at the tomb of His beloved Lazarus, who had been dead for four days and already had an odor.
In verse 37, someone among the crowd at Lazarus’s funeral said, "Could not he who opened the eyes of the blind man have kept this man from dying?"
I reflect deeply on these words. When I am going through suffering and hardship, wouldn’t I say the exact same thing?
Could the Lord not have prevented this suffering and pain from entering my life?
Aren't we often holding onto this kind of "faith" that isn't true faith at all?
Today, the Lord’s word awakens us from this false faith—one that seeks to skip the death-like sufferings and only desires the power of resurrection.
I realize that whether it is our current hardship or a temptation from Satan, this is a message to make us believe in the Almighty God, who delivers us and leads us to the victory of resurrection through suffering like dead. ✝️♥️
I earnestly pray that the Lord will grant us true faith to believe in the promise of salvation! ✝️👏
Have faith in God!
