If we receive the witness of man, the witness of God is greater for for this is the witness of God which He has tested of His Son.

The Bible noticed that "the witness" is mentioned three times, and including "testify," it is emphasized four times in a single passage.

What is this testimony about His Son, Jesus, that God emphasizes so intensely?

Verse 11 tells us:

"And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is only in the Son of God!"

Since we believe the Gospel—God's own testimony that there is forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Jesus—how can we not proclaim Jesus Christ to others? ✝️🎁

"He who has the Son, Jesus, has eternal life and is a witness to Christ Jesus!"
