Yet in church I would rather speak five words with my understanding, that I may teach others also, than ten thousand words in a tongue.

그러나 교회안에서 내가 다른 사람을 가르치기 위하여 나의 명철한 다섯 마디의 말이 일만 마디의 방언보다 나으니라.

고린도전서 14:19

아멘!

"my understanding" 우리 말로 성경적인 해석은 "나의 명철" 을 뜻합니다.

주님께서 잠언에 지혜와 명철 (understanding)은 하나님을 경외함이 근본임을 여러번 강조하십니다.

성령운동이라고 집회하는 교회의 첫번째를 방언으로 꼽습니다.

그래서 방언을 사모하라고 말하면서 가르치기도 합니다.

가르친다고 배워서 방언하는 것은 가짜입니다.

사도 바울 선생님은 고린도교회를 향해 질책하셨고, 지금 우리에게 말씀하십니다.

하나님의 입에서 나온 말씀은 지혜와 명철함으로 계시된 것이니, 구하라!!!

성령님을 사모하여 구하면 폭포수와 같이 넘치도록 부어주신다고 약속하셨습니다!

Pray with the Holy Spirit and also pray with understanding!

The Lord has emphasized many times in Proverbs that the fear of God is the foundation of wisdom and understanding.

Churches that hold gatherings under the banner of the Holy Spirit movement often cite speaking in tongues as their primary characteristic.

Therefore, they teach people to earnestly desire and practice to speak in tongues.

Speaking in tongues simply because one has learned it through teaching is fake.

The Apostle Paul rebuked the Corinthian church, and He speaks to us now.

The word that has come from the mouth of God is prophecy revealed in wisdom and understanding;

Earnestly desire it!

The Lord God has promised that if we earnestly desire and seek the Holy Spirit, He will pour Him out abundantly like a waterfall!

Pray with the Holy Spirit and also pray with understanding!
