Which He made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, having made known to us the mystery of His will,

Ephesians 1:8,9(a)

주께서 지혜와 명철을 우리안에 풍성케 하사, 그 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알리셨으니,

예배소서 1:8,9(상)

하나님을 알고 경외함이 지혜요, 악을 분별하여 떠나는 것이 명철이라고 잠언과 욥기에서 배웠습니다.

그리고 예수의 보혈로 씻김을 받은 믿음의 사람에게 지혜와 명철을 풍성하게 주시는 이유를 말씀하십니다.

그 이유는 하나님의 뜻의 비밀을 우리에게 알려주시기 위함 이라고 말씀하십니다.

흔히 우리가 어떤 일을 결정해야 하는 선택의 귀로에 있을 때 하나님의 뜻을 구합니다.

그렇다면 하나님의 뜻이란 무엇인가요?

우리를 향하신 하나님의 뜻은, 은혜로 받은 지혜와 명철로 진리의 말씀을 듣고 순종하여 행하므로 모두가 구원 얻기를 바라신다는 것입니다.

Desire wisdom and understanding from our Father God and the Lord Jesus Christ!

Pray to the Lord God before leaving!

We have learned from Proverbs and Job that knowing God and fearing Him is wisdom, and that discerning evil and turning away from it is understanding.

And we are told why God gives abundant wisdom and understanding to those who have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus and who have faith: it is so that He may make known to us the mystery of His will.

We often seek God’s will when we come to a crossroads and have to make a decision about something.

Godly path?

Or worldly path?

Then, what is God’s will?

God’s will for us is that, through the wisdom and understanding we have received by His grace, we may hear the Word of truth, obey it, and put it into practice, so that all may be saved.

That everyone would turn away from evil and be saved—this is God’s will and purpose for us!!!

(1 Timothy 2:4; Ezekiel 18:23, 32)
